The saga continues. After 3 years of photographing the DFO, it was time to participate in the competition. I didnt get many photos this time because of that.. it is very intense. 10 hours straight, its up to you to take a break. After hanging my photo display on friday and competing on saturday, it was over in a flash. I made a crate set out of multicolored flat cane that i turned into ringlets and stacked. i didnt win anything, but i am pleased with what i got done and how clean it came out. My goal was to not sacrifice cleanliness for complexity or size, and have a finished piece. Not necessarily a prize winning plan, but i am happy. My favorite piece by far was made by Hamm. even before he spray painted it.. He won the creative, Steve Bates won the technical award with a butane powered water gun, and Robin Hood took home the people's choice with a functioning glass bow and arrows.. congrats guys.. thanks cornerstone!!

Really *really* beautiful photos man! Thanks for sharing!
Endless inspiration. A thought, a look, an idea, and photo. It's captured energy.
What they said up there. ^^^^^^^^^^^
